| JYJ to record song for 2014 Incheon Asian Games Posted: 13 May 2013 06:30 AM PDT  JYJ has been recently appointed as honorary ambassadors for the '2014 Incheon Asian Games' and they will be recording a song for the promotion of the big event. It was announced that the group will be preparing an Incheon song, dance, and music video as part of their support. JYJ will be releasing the official music video for the theme song in all Asian countries this coming June. In addition, JYJ will be holding showcases in Vietnam and China in October and November of this year. |
| 2PM to hold '2PM Is Back with Genie' concert Posted: 13 May 2013 06:00 AM PDT  In celebration of their grand comeback, 2PM will be holding a special live showcase on May 17th at 9PM KST at the M-Stage in Gangnam. The one-hour long concert titled '2PM Is Back with Genie' will mark an end to 2PM's two year hiatus in South Korea, and enable them to interact closely with their fans. During the concert, 2PM will be performing their double title tracks, "Come Back When You Hear This Song" and "All Day I Think About You" as well as their past hit songs. In addition, the concert will be streamed live through YouTube, and many fans in different countries can also enjoy the show. JYP Entertainment said, "Many fans will be able to feel the great passion and excitement that 2PM members have for their comeback. We hope that they will come to spend a wonderful and enjoyable time with 2PM." |
| Song Seung Hun apologizes for Shin Se Kyung's injury Posted: 13 May 2013 05:30 AM PDT  Actor Song Seung Hun apologized for accidentally hitting co-star Shin Se Kyung while filming MBC's 'When a Man Loves'. Earlier, Shin Se Kyung was revealed to have suffered an eye injury during a fight scene with Song Seung Hun and Yeo Woo Jin. Song Seung Hun swung a stick and hit Shin Se Kyung's face, making her face bruise near her eye area. According to an official, Song Seung Hun was largely surprised that he hit Shin Se Kyung, and he made another apology through his Twitter. The actor wrote, "I will pray for your hasty recovery… I'm so sorry." Shin Se Kyung replied back, "I'm really strong oppa! Dont worry about it~", assuring the actor that she's okay. |

On the May 12th episode of SBS's '1000 Song Challenge', Lizzy appeared as guest and revealed that her popularity just wasn't what it once was. During the show, MC Lee Hwi Jae said, "It seems like your beauty is reaching its peak," to which she replied, "That's not true. I'm done now." She explained, "I got many calls from guys until last year, but now, none of them call me anymore." Lizzy then added that she never regretted it saying, "It's ok. Now, my work is more important than falling in love." |
| Girls' Generation's Sooyoung to show totally different image for 'Cyrano' Posted: 13 May 2013 04:30 AM PDT  Girls' Generation's Sooyoung will be showcasing a totally different image for her upcoming tvN's drama series 'Dating Agency: Cyrano'. On May 12, producers of the drama released pictures of Sooyoung in her role as Gong Min Young, who is described as a bright romanticist. In the photos, she is showing a totally different looks from the image that she shows as a singer on the stage. Especially, her cute facial expressions are drawing many people's attention. According to the Producer Kang Hee Jun, "Sooyoung's passion is amazing. Not only does she give particular cares to her costumes, she also goes through endless rehearsals and studies. I think viewers will be able to see her upgraded acting in this drama." 'Dating Agency: Cyrano' is a 16-episode drama based off of the webtoon, 'Cyrano Agency', and is a prequel to the original 'Cyrano: Dating Agency' movie. | T-ara N4 meets Chris Brown Posted: 13 May 2013 03:40 AM PDT  After receiving a love call, T-ara N4 has arrived in Los Angeles to finally meet Chris Brown. On May 13 (KST), T-ara's unit group T-ara N4 landed in Los Angeles to meet with Hip-hop and R&B star Chris Brown. Although he wasn't present at the airport, Chris Brown sent in 18 body guards and 5 limousines to escort them to a hotel. The girls were supposed to meet up with Chris Brown at night but they went to Brown's shooting studio during the day due to change of schedule. T-ara N4 members shook hands with the popular singer and discussed music. They also thanked him for inviting them to America. This unexpected meet up is because of T-ara's trainee Dani who is an acquaintance of Chris Brown. Dani was present at Chris Brown's concert on May 9. She showed T-ara N4's new music video for "Countryside Diary" and Brown got an interest in the overall style of the group.   |

Posted: 13 May 2013 01:26 AM PDT  Asia's leading audition program will visit the Berklee College of Music, PSY's alma mater, to discover next superstar!! CJ E&M's music channel Mnet has introduced a new format of preliminary audition for this year's as an attempt to discover hidden musical talents. Dubbed "visiting audition," has been holding preliminaries in various locations over the country, and now it will go abroad, the Berklee College of Music in Boston. The visiting audition at Berklee will convene at Fordham Road Practice Facility at 2 PM on May 28th. Known as the largest independent college of contemporary music, the school's alumni include famous musicians, such as Quincy Jones, John Mayer, Keith Jarrett, along with K-POP phenomena PSY and 2NE1's Park Bom. As for , several students of Berklee have applied for: Jung Sun-kook advanced into Top 10 in 's inaugural season in 2009, and so did Kim Jung-hwan at last year. Producers of said, "We are very excited to have an audition at Berklee College of Music. We are wondering what kind of applicants we will meet there, a city full of world's musical genius." | Shin Se Kyung suffers eye injury while filming 'When A Man Loves' Posted: 13 May 2013 12:00 AM PDT  It has been belatedly revealed that actress Shin Se Kyung suffered an eye injury during the filming of her latest drama, 'When A Man Loves'. A representative from MBC revealed that Shin Se Kyung was hit in the eye by a wooden plank during a scene with Song Seung Hun and Yeo Woo Jin. "All of the staffs were largely surprised, but she calmed the staffs down first, and went on with shooting after having an icepack massage", the agency added. After they wrapped up the filming, Shin Se Kyung headed towards a hospital to get proper treatment. Namoo Actors stated, Though there's no big problem, she's still suffering from the effects of her injury. She intends to return to filming once she finishes receiving medical treatment." |

According to her management agency, WM Company, "Park Jung Ah recently got a thyroid cancer removal surgery. The tumor, which was still in its early stages, was found during a physical examination. However, due to physical and quality problems, they can attend only some of them so they feel sorry for fans.
